It seems as if Twitter has been threatened with legal action by an Israeli pressure group-Shurat HaDin--the Israel Law Centre, demanding that they block access to Hezbollah, the alleged East African al-Qaeda affiliate al-Shabaab and other outlawed "Foreign Terrorist Organisations." It should be noted that Hezbollah is considered a political party in Lebanon, with seats in its Parliament and Cabinet.
If the past can be seen as any indicator, it can also be seen as an attempt to force Twitter to close other accounts run by groups deemed "objectionable" or holding viewed considered "extremist" in nature. Of course, these designations are subjective.
