[Dr. Hibbi Omar] Reactions from Farrakhan's #SD2013 Message

We're still receiving an incredible amount of feedback from Minister Louis Farrakhan's Saviours' Day 2013 message delivered Feb. 24 at the University of Illinois-Chicago Pavilion.  Many believe it represents a turning point in the history of Black people in America. I thought I'd share some of those shared with me.

Feb. 23 at the Chicago Hilton for Saviours' Day 2013 with the director of the Table Talks Project the very knowledgeable and humble Imam Sultan Rahman Muhammad of Mosque Maryam (center) and Dr. Hibbi Omar*, professor of International Business & Marketing at Goldey-Beacom College in Wilmington, Delaware.

"I'm honored to be here today and I heard a very powerful presentation of the Honorable Minister Louis Farrakhan.  It brought into my mind the memories of the Honorable Elijah Muhammad and Master Fard Muhammad and the great contributions that they have made in the last 85 plus years. It was such a powerful speech which not only moved me but moved everybody in the audience, thousands and thousands of people. He's a man with vision and he brought his vision out and that vision has to be fulfilled.  It's everybody's responsibility here who listened to him or who has not listened to him to fulfill the vision and dream of the Honorable Elijah Muhammad and the family and the greater family."
